Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a senior asset management professional in Mexico City to review stabilized property operations, sponsor performance, and credit.

You will propose actions to sustain loan performance and maximize asset value, while monitoring financial performance and delivering credit recommendations. The role requires extensive multifamily experience, excellent communication and analytical skills, and high proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, transaction management, or underwriting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• 6–7 years of multifamily asset management/underwriting experience.
• High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft programs.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and report on stabilized property operations, sponsor performance and credit.
• Propose actions to maintain loan performance and maximize asset value.
• Proactively monitor and analyze the financial performance of assets.
• Prepare and present credit recommendations related to loan extensions, conversions, and modifications.
• Interact with sponsors, servicers, investors, legal counsel, and other external transaction parties.
• Interact with bankers, underwriters, credit and engineering risk, loan administrators, and other internal transaction parties.
• Contribute to asset reviews, classifications, and related reporting.
• Support increased loan closings and risk management for CCC investments and loan portfolios.
• Assess risk with an emphasis on Citi policies, compliance, and integrity.
• Assess capabilities of non-profit sponsors and LIHTC properties when relevant.
