Alignerr Corp. recruits a Chemistry Expert (AI Training) to design and solve rigorous chemistry challenges that shape how AI reasons about complex scientific problems.

The role is fully remote, hourly, with flexible commitments of 10–40 hours per week. Masters or PhDs are required, with deep chemistry expertise and comfort using Python or computational chemistry tools.

• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve AI model reasoning in scientific contexts.
• Evaluate scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity of AI-generated chemistry content.
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of depth, precision, and scientific integrity.
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule.

What You\'ll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced chemistry problems with genuine real-world relevance
• Apply your specialist knowledge in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry to design complex, well-structured problem statements
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve AI model reasoning in scientific contexts
• Evaluate the scientific accuracy, rigor, and clarity of AI-generated chemistry content
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of depth, precision, and scientific integrity

Who You Are

• Holder of a Master\'s or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Deep expertise in one or more areas: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
• Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry software (e.g., Gaussian, VASP)
• Exceptionally detail-oriented — you notice when something is scientifically off and you know how to fix it
• A clear and precise written communicator who can explain complex concepts with accuracy
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in academic research, publishing, or peer review
• Familiarity with cheminformatics tools or scientific computing environments
• Experience mentoring, teaching, or developing problem sets in a chemistry context
