Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Release Management & DevOps Governance Lead to ensure the successful planning, governance, and delivery of software releases across cloud-native environments.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Quality, DevSecOps, SRE, and Support teams to drive seamless deployments while balancing speed, reliability, compliance, and risk management. This role emphasizes governance, automation, and continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Lead release planning, governance, and deployment activities across multiple applications, services, and environments.
• Align change management practices with modern CI/CD methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Assess deployment risks, dependencies, and business impacts while ensuring rollback and recovery strategies are in place.
• Coordinate release orchestration activities across staging, testing, canary, and production environments.
• Partner with SRE, DevSecOps, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve release reliability and operational stability.
• Facilitate incident reviews and post-mortem discussions to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholder communications related to releases, feature rollouts, deployment schedules, and change impacts.
• Support governance and workflow management through tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, and related platforms.
• Promote automation, standardization, and best practices across software delivery processes.
• Contribute to cloud and container-based operational strategies leveraging AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Your Role

As a Release Management & DevOps Governance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, governance, and delivery of software releases across complex cloud-native environments. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Quality, DevSecOps, SRE, and Support teams to drive seamless deployments while balancing speed, reliability, compliance, and risk management. In this role, you will oversee release governance processes, coordinate multi-environment deployments, assess deployment risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the software delivery lifecycle. Your ability to align stakeholders, optimize release processes, and drive operational excellence will be key to ensuring stable and high-performing platforms.

• Collaborates effectively with Product, Engineering, Quality, DevSecOps, SRE, and Business stakeholders, fostering alignment and driving successful outcomes.
• Takes ownership of release planning, change governance, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting operational excellence at scale.
• Embraces automation, innovation, and continuous learning, leveraging modern cloud and platform technologies to accelerate value delivery and enhance customer experience.
