CEMEX, Inc. in San Pedro Garza García, NL is seeking an Advisor Financial Information responsible for generating, consolidating, analyzing, and communicating global financial data to senior management.

You will coordinate with regional teams, prepare monthly and quarterly exec reports, support automation projects, and ensure compliance with corporate reporting standards while delivering clear executive insights.

Formación

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; a master’s degree is desirable.
• 5 years of experience in controllership or financial planning is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and performance analysis; proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and monitor consolidated KPIs (Sales, EBITDA, EBIT, Net Income, Free Cash Flow, ROIC, Working Capital).
• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive reports and presentations for Senior Management and executives.
• Coordinate with regional and local teams to validate financial information and ensure global reporting consistency.
• Analyze variances, trends, and events affecting financial performance.
• Support process improvement, reporting automation, and development of dashboards.
• Participate in projects related to financial information systems and data governance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate reporting guidelines and standards.
• Transform data into actionable insights with clear executive communication.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across regional, local, and corporate teams.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and sound financial judgment.

Job Description

Generate, consolidate, analyze, and communicate financial information for CEMEX at a global level, ensuring the quality, consistency, and timeliness of key performance indicators used by senior management for decision-making. Active contribution to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, implementation of analytical tools, and alignment of reporting criteria across regional and corporate teams

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor consolidated financial and operational KPIs, including Sales, EBITDA, EBIT, Net Income, Free Cash Flow, ROIC, Working Capital, and other strategic indicators.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive reports and presentations for Senior Management, the Executive Committee, and other corporate stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regional and local teams to validate financial and operational information and ensure consistency in the global reporting process.
• Analyze variances, trends, and extraordinary events impacting the company’s financial performance.
• Support process improvement initiatives, reporting automation efforts, and the development of analytical tools and dashboards.
• Participate in corporate projects related to financial information systems and data governance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate reporting guidelines, definitions, and standards.
• Analytical thinking and ability to transform data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Background
  • Accounting or Finance bachelor’s degrees.
