Epicor is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to process cash receipts and resolve payment discrepancies. The role involves posting payments, reconciling with bank deposits, and addressing unapplied receipts in a high-volume setting.

You will collaborate with the Collections team to resolve invoice issues, maintain clean AR balances, and support daily reporting. A high school or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of accounting/clerical experience are preferred.

• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
• 2+ years of applicable experience and 1+ year accounting/clerical work.

The Cash Applications Specialist position is responsible for processing cash receipts, resolving payment discrepancies and answering internal and external customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner.

What you will be doing:

• Process daily receipts ensuring prompt and accurate recording of payments to customer accounts.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts against appropriate GL.
• Research and address unapplied and unallocated receipts.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure that the AR balances are accurately reported on a monthly basis.
• Daily posting of payments and reconciling to bank deposits.
• Works closely with Collections Department to resolve any invoice issues.
• Counts and balances daily cash.
• High volume data entry including setup of all new accounts in electronic database.
• Identify billing issues with invoices; determine root cause and assist with resolution.
• Other administrative duties may include filing processing daily reports, sorting mail, scanning checks and updating Excel spreadsheets.

• Proficiency in MS Windows Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• 2+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
