Corning Inc. in Reynosa, MX invites a Capacity Modeler to maintain and improve capacity and facility space models that guide production, expansion, and capital planning. You will partner with Operations, Engineering and Site Leadership to ensure accurate, actionable planning assumptions.

Required: BS in Industrial Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, advanced Excel, strong analytics, forecasting and capacity planning experience; Power BI a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform regular model updates based on demand forecasts, production assumptions, labor factors, and productivity inputs.
• Analyze demand versus available capacity, identify short-, medium-, and long-term risks, and communicate potential impacts to key stakeholders.
• Conduct scenario analysis and what-if simulations to support manufacturing strategy, network planning, expansion initiatives, and investment prioritization.

What is your role?

As a Capacity Modeler, you will maintain, improve, and execute capacity and facility space models that support operational and strategic planning. This role helps the business understand how forecasted demand compares to available manufacturing capacity and enables data-driven decisions related to production, expansion, and capital planning. You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Site Leadership to ensure planning assumptions are accurate and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain manufacturing capacity and facility space planning models to support business and operational decisions.

Experiences/Education - Required

What do you need to have?

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering/Technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with forecasting and capacity planning methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

What will make you stand out?

• Experience in optical communications, electronics, cable, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Power BI experience.
