IDEXX is seeking a Sales Consultant for the Companion Animal Group in Mexico. The role focuses on selling and promoting IDEXX products and services, developing accounts, and generating new business within an assigned territory.

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine is required.
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities.
• Experience selling or promoting veterinary products is a plus.
• Ability to travel intensively is required.
• Experience with distributors in diagnostic industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced).

We are hiring a Sales Consultant position for our Companion Animal Group in Mexico

Why This Role Matters

Sell and promote IDEXX products and/or services to customer. Responsible for development of accounts and/or generating new business from existing accounts. Pursue sales leads and visit customer sites within assigned territory defined by geographic area, industry or product/service segment. Execute trainings, identify new opportunities/leads and generate sales reports.

In This Role

• Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales/training goals.
• Leverage other sales channels (distributors) to maximize sales and customer service objectives.
• Develop and support customer’s training processes to improve productivity and ensure that goals are met.
• Analyze the characteristics and trends of the local market and help define customer needs for new or modified products and services.

What You Need To Succeed

• Intensive travel required
• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine
• Strong communications skills and public speaking
• Sales ability / persuasiveness.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly, build and maintain relationships.
• Intermediate to advanced English
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Desirable experience with working with distributors within diagnostic industry and experience in clinical veterinary practice
• Candidates location: Mexico city, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana, Cancún or Merida
