Valmont Industries, Inc. in Mexico seeks a Drafting Engineer to interpret customer orders and prepare 2D and 3D drawings for production and submittals. You will use CAD tools and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure designs meet project requirements and quality standards.

This individual contributor role involves occasional travel to the US, a hybrid schedule after an initial in-office period, and close interaction with engineering, production, and customers to resolve design issues.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or similar.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD and basic math concepts (Algebra, Geometry, Trig).
• Proficient in reading manufacturing drawings and specs.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret customer orders and prepare drawings for production.
• Utilize 2D and 3D modeling to meet specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, production, and suppliers on drawings and plans.
• Travel occasionally to the US as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety rules.
