Epicor is seeking a Business Operations Manager to lead a team overseeing pre-order operational activities, including systems-related processes for sales quotes, orders, purchasing, pricing, and procurement. The role focuses on achieving operational excellence through technology and efficiency improvements.

You will guide cross-functional teams, establish KPIs, and drive continuous process improvements across multiple locations.

• Maximize efficiency of pre-order operations procedures.

• Monitor daily operations and address issues as they arise.
• Resolve highly complex client, account, and processing issues and discrepancies.
• Build processes that meet business objectives and ensure compliance.
• Monitor financial data and recommend profitability improvements.
• Determine stakeholder needs and incorporate into strategic plans.
• Assist on special projects and provide ad hoc reports.

The Job

This position will ensure that operational excellence is achieved through technological improvements and efficiencies.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage, train an develop Business Systems Analysts and Business Operations team members.
• Provide guidance and direction to ensure all systems and applications operate smoothly and foster coordination between departments.
• Maximize the efficiency of all pre-order business operations procedures.
• Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments.
• Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise.
• Resolve highly complex client, account, and/or processing issues and discrepancies.
• Build processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance.
• Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability.
• Determine the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans.
• Assists on special projects and provides ad hoc reports as needed.

What Can Set You Apart

• 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge in a Business Operations team
• 3+ years of Manufacturing specialized/industry experience
• 3+ years in Software Industry preferred
• Experience leveraging service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, EpicCare, Salesforce Service Cloud, or similar) to improve operational efficiency, case management, reporting, and the overall support experience.
• Demonstrated success identifying opportunities to streamline operations through automation, standardization, knowledge management, and continuous process improvement.
• Strong Operational Excellence mindset with experience establishing KPIs, analyzing performance trends, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing measurable improvements to team performance and customer outcomes.
• Experience partnering with business and technical teams to prioritize system enhancements, improve workflows, and ensure tools effectively support evolving business needs.
• Ability to think strategically about how people, processes, and technology work together to build a scalable, customer-focused support organization while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
