To support our growth and strengthen our presence in the spices market, we are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Business Development Manager Spices for our Mexico operations. Please note: This role is primarily focused on product business development, particularly processed and manufactured food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Food & Beverage solutions, be able to leverage insights from our North America Spices team, and translate that knowledge into actionable strategies for the Mexican market.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the spice sector, driving revenue growth, and building strategic relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly analytical, and has a strong understanding of sourcing and food manufacturing in Mexico.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters preferred).
Experience:
Proven track record in business development or sourcing.
Experience in food sourcing or manufacturing in Mexico.
Experience with ERP software (SAP preferred).
Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and research capabilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced English (spoken and written)
Reports directly to the SVP & Business Head Chiles
