Klar is recruiting a Business Architect in Mexico City for a hybrid role. You will manage data flows, design scalable collections processes, and drive measurable performance across bureau reporting and collections products.

The position requires strong SQL, Python, and analytics skills and engages with cross-functional teams to optimize operations. Join a vibrant, international team and contribute to a fast-moving fintech environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or quantitative field.
• Strong SQL skills (Intermediate/Advanced).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Advanced Excel, data analysis, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Own and improve Credit Bureau-related processes within Collections, ensuring accuracy and governance.
• Map and optimize end-to-end workflows across bureau reporting and Collections products.
• Design reporting frameworks to track portfolio performance and recovery outcomes.
• Build dashboards and monitoring to detect risks and performance gaps.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Credit, and Product to align data and strategy.

The position and your daily adventures

This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week.
The Business Architect will play a key role in ensuring accurate data flows, measurable performance, and scalable operational structures that support Collections strategy. We are looking for someone who can own projects end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment with high exposure and impact.

What you can expect

• Own and continuously improve Credit Bureau-related processes within Collections, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and operational robustness.
• Map, document, and optimize end-to-end workflows across bureau reporting and Collections products.
• Design and enhance reporting frameworks to track portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and recovery outcomes.
• Define and monitor performance metrics for internal and external operational teams, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish governance structures and standardized reporting for operational performance, payments tracking, and incentive schemes.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and monitoring systems to proactively detect risks and performance gaps.
• Lead analytical initiatives to understand delinquency behavior, segmentation opportunities, and operational drivers.
• Identify structural process gaps and propose scalable, data-driven improvements.
• Automate reporting and manual workflows using SQL and internal tools.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Credit, and Product to ensure alignment between data, processes, and strategic objectives.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data science, Economics, Finance, Computational, etc.)
• Intermediate / Advanced in SQL
• Intermediate Python
• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, structured data analysis).
• Intermediate
• Experience working with data in operational or analytical roles.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Advanced English. Most communication within Klar happens in English.
• Tableau experience is a plus
