Remote Billing Specialist

The Remote Billing Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health and client satisfaction of the firm. This position ensures that all billing, collections, and payment processes are completed with accuracy, professionalism, and empathy. The Billing Specialist manages the firm's payment queues, oversees collections, assists clients with payments, and monitors account aging to ensure financial efficiency and integrity.

  • Payment Queue Calls: Answer incoming payment‑related calls promptly and professionally. Assist clients in understanding payment options and processes. Ensure accurate documentation of all payment inquiries and resolutions.
  • Collections Management: Conduct collection calls with professionalism, empathy, and consistency. Follow up on past‑due accounts to maintain healthy receivable balances. Maintain detailed records of all communication and payment arrangements.
  • Payment Processing Support: Assist clients in processing payments accurately and securely. Verify payment details and update client accounts as needed. Ensure compliance with firm financial policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Aging Report & Financial Tracking: Regularly monitor and manage the aging report to maintain a balanced portfolio. Identify and elevate high‑risk or delinquent accounts. Collaborate with leadership to implement strategies for improvement.
