AIG in Mexico City is seeking a Sr Underwriting Assistant to provide administrative and technical support to the underwriting team, handling data entry, information gathering, and risk analysis documents.

You will collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and clients, maintain files, and help issuing new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations while ensuring deadlines and service levels are met.

Formación

• At least 1 to 4 years of experience in insurance underwriting.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and quality performance data.
• Knowledge of underwriting processes and procedures.
• Spanish language with intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and resolve systems alerts and freezes in the quoting process to resolve discrepancies and avoid account conflicts.
• Analyze and prepare supporting documents for the review and evaluation of Subscription risk appetite.
• Support underwriters to follow up on brokers, quotes, pending proposals and any other charges.
• Provide customer service, proactively interacting with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate to prepare work orders and support information to issuance (new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations) within the established deadlines.
• Review post-issuance policies/support and refer discrepancies to the responsible area for correction.
• Maintain updated files of all accounts, in accordance with the internal rules and procedures of the area.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements and volume, accuracy and quality metrics.
