Job summary

Flowserve Corporation seeks a proactive, bilingual Procurement Specialist to support material availability and purchasing across multiple plants in the United States. You will manage raw-material procurement, POs, supplier follow-up, and risk escalations to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time material delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Supply Chain, Business.
• 2–3 years of procurement, purchasing, material planning, supply chain, or supplier management experience in manufacturing.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills with U.S. stakeholders.
• Valid U.S. visa is mandatory, with travel ~monthly in the first 3–4 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage raw-material purchasing activities and purchase orders to support multiple plants in Mexico and the United States.
• Use Oracle MRP to review material demand, inventory coverage, and supply requirements, identifying risks.
• Monitor open purchase orders, delivery commitments, supplier performance, and material availability to prevent disruptions.
• Escalate supply risks and material shortages with suppliers and internal teams to develop timely solutions.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based planning, logistics, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support import, export, customs, and international shipping to ensure timely, compliant materials.
• Maintain purchasing data and procurement documentation in Oracle and other systems.
• Participate in supplier communications, issue resolution, and sourcing activities; experience with strategic sourcing is a plus.
