Overview
Join a dynamic, fast-growing company dedicated to advancing medical research and enhancing patient care. The company is seeking a motivated and bilingual Patient Recruiter. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and enrolling potential study participants through various outreach channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate with study teams and sponsors to develop and implement recruitment plans, ensuring a seamless transition from recruitment to study participation. Success in this role is measured in part by the number of calls and outreach efforts completed daily, emphasizing consistent engagement with potential participants.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential study participants through channels such as social media, community events, medical clinics, and patient databases.
- Develop and execute patient recruitment plans for multiple clinical trials in collaboration with the study team and sponsors.
- Screen potential participants using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria to determine eligibility.
- Educate potential participants about study objectives, procedures, risks, and benefits in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with study participants, providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with the clinical research team to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to study participation.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in patient recruitment to optimize strategies.
- Ensure daily outreach goals are met, including the number of calls and contacts made, as a key performance metric.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the recruitment process and overall study success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology or any field related to Social Sciences/Health.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to compile, analyze, and present recruitment data effectively while maintaining accountability for daily activities and results.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
