Job summary

The Citi Loan Documentation and Processing team in Mexico City seeks a developing professional for the Loan Doc & Proc Analyst 2 role. You will support the preparation and review of loan documentation and assist with closing activities in a complex loans operation.

You will process day-to-day loan transactions, book cash, perform reconciliations, interact with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with policies and controls.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Elementary level knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process.
• Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services.
• Basic awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation.
• Able to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalated risks and issues.
• Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes.
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies.

Responsibilities

• This role will manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process. Activities will include independently processing and closing loans within a complex loans operation environment
• Involves in providing day-to-day loan transactional processing which may include booking cash transactions and making payments, performing loan reconciliations, inputting general ledger entries and (complex) calculations.
• Supports an expansive and/or diverse array of products (risk and control) /services.
• Follows established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing activities that require investigation or research.
• Makes recommendations to management to support process improvement.
