Chartwells Higher Education seeks an entry-level culinary teammate in Yucatán with less than 1 year of cooking experience. You will work under Executive and Sous Chefs, delivering friendly service, following the You First program, and ensuring dining room guidelines are understood by guests.

You will be involved in basic food prep, mise en place, and supporting cooks while maintaining a professional appearance and adherence to safety standards in a university dining environment.

Formación

• Less than 1 year of cooking experience.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Successfully completes all Compass required training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide extraordinary guest service following the seven essentials of Exceptional Customer Service.
• Go above and beyond per the You First program guidelines.
• Communicate with guests to help them understand proper use of the Dining Room.
• Interact with customers and coworkers to ensure compliance with service standards.
• Maintain mobility to perform tasks within production and service timeframes.
• Maintain a neat, on-time, fully uniform appearance.
• Follow departmental recipes and use resources of food per Q&A.
• Report hygiene and safety hazards to Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Maintain departmental standards and procedures.
