Job summary

AutoZone de México is seeking a Finance Accountant to manage reconciliations and journal entries across multiple departments, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance. This role supports cross-functional areas in the US, Mexico, and Brazil and plays a key part in the monthly close process.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of experience in general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation, ERP experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• ERP experience and strong MS Excel skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries for multiple departments.
• Prepare all AssureNET reconciliations on assigned accounts.
• Analyze journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX controls.
• Communicate reconciliation matters with cross-functional teams.
• Suggest process improvements for assigned accounts.
