The Field Technical Technician for the Flexibles Division is the main technical contact between the customer’s production teams and TOPPAN. This role supports packaging equipment operations, qualification trials, troubleshooting quality and production issues, and ensures successful implementation of TOPPAN packaging solutions at customer sites.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish and thrives in a customer‑facing environment.

Formación

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 2+ years of field service, maintenance, technical support, manufacturing, or packaging operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site technical support for flexible packaging applications and packaging equipment.
• Serve as a primary technical liaison between the customer’s manufacturing facilities and TOPPAN’s operations.
• Lead and support qualification trials for new packaging materials, equipment settings, and production processes.
• Work closely with customer production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to ensure successful implementation of packaging solutions.
• Troubleshoot packaging material, machine performance, and quality-related issues directly at customer facilities.
• Investigate product and packaging defects and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve performance.
• Support root cause analysis activities and develop technical recommendations for customers.
• Collaborate with Application Development, Quality, Operations, Commercial, and Technical teams to commercialize new business opportunities.
• Prepare detailed service reports documenting trials, troubleshooting efforts, customer feedback, and action plans.
• Build strong relationships with customer operations and quality teams while serving as a trusted technical advisor.
• Provide hands-on support during startup activities, product launches, and process improvement initiatives.
• Travel frequently throughout Mexico, including regular visits to customer facilities in Salinas and Monterrey.
