Banco Plata is seeking a Tax professional to provide technical and operational support in tax compliance, ensuring accurate tax determinations and regulatory alignment for audits.

The role requires 4–6 years of tax experience, preferably in banking or Big 4, with strong knowledge of Mexican tax laws, SAT platforms, and reconciliations. You will manage returns, CFDIs reviews, and advisory on financial products.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 4-6 years of tax experience, preferably in banking or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation and banking regulations.
• Proficient in SAT platforms, tax withholdings, and reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review monthly and annual tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, withholdings).
• Review the tax treatment of financial income, fees, leases, and other banking products.
• Oversee tax withholdings applicable to vendors and clients.
• Review incoming CFDIs for compliance: tax requirements, deductibility, withholdings, and payment method.
• Reconcile accrued vs. recognized income for tax reporting purposes.
• Build and maintain a tax-specific defense file by tax type.
• Document internal tax positions and provide support during SAT or CNBV audits.
• Assist with transfer pricing compliance (annexes, functional analysis).
• Provide internal tax advisory on new financial products and regulatory compliance.
