Speechify is a 100% distributed company building text-to-speech tools used by millions. We design and maintain backend services powering payments, analytics, subscriptions, TTS, and external APIs.

You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, oversee the API landscape, collaborate with enterprise clients, and align backend architecture with product strategy to create delightful user experiences. You will work with cross-functional teams and ship fast in a remote-first culture.

Formación

• Proven backend development experience with TS/Node
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to design scalable APIs
• Strong collaboration across teams

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience
