Job summary

Papigen is seeking a Data Platform & Solution Architect with 8+ years of IT experience to define and govern the end-to-end data platform, reporting, analytics, and dashboard ecosystem in Mexico City.

You will lead Azure-based solutions (ADLS, Databricks, ADF) and Power BI, shaping data ingestion, modeling, APIs, security, and governance while providing technical leadership across data engineering, BI, QA, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with data platform and solution architecture.
• Enterprise data platform and solution architecture leadership.
• Experience with ADLS, Databricks, ADF, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and semantic modeling.
• Proficient in Power BI reporting and analytics architecture.
• Strong Azure DevOps and CI/CD architecture background.
• Experience with APIs and data integration architecture.
• Proven leadership, design reviews, stakeholder management, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end data platform and solution architecture.
• Design Azure-based data, analytics, reporting, integration, and dashboard solutions.
• Lead architecture for Azure Data Lake, Databricks, ADF, PostgreSQL, Power BI, and APIs.
• Define and govern Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Guide data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and semantic models.
• Review architecture designs, data flows, integrations, APIs, and docs.
• Drive modernization, scalability, performance, automation, and self-service analytics.
• Define architecture controls for data quality, lineage, security, and auditability.
• Provide technical leadership across data engineering, BI, QA, and DevOps teams.
