Job summary

UNDP in Mexico supports the Sinergia+ project to strengthen CONANP's processes for decree elaboration related to Natural Protected Areas (ANP). The role focuses on following up and integrating information required to draft decrees, aiding in institutional strengthening and robust legal frameworks for ANP establishment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma with at least 4 years of verifiable experience or a university degree with at least 1 year in the legal framework for ANP

Qualifications

• Experience in quality report preparation.
• Experience analyzing legal instruments for ANP decree establishment.
• Desirable knowledge of administrative-legal processes and document management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor activities with CONANP administrative units for ANP decrees.
• Assist in organizing and tracking public consultation processes for ANP establishment.
• Integrate, review, organize, and update technical, legal, and administrative documentation for ANP decrees and declarations.
• Review and organize supporting studies, draft decrees, notices, and other documentation for ANP establishment or modification.
• Support development and follow-up of ANP establishment/modification processes.
