Job summary

UN Atlas seeks a Project Assistant (Public Consultation) to support the Sinergia+ project in strengthening environmental decrees and management programs for CONANP. You will contribute technical input to regulations affecting Protected Natural Areas (ANP) and assist in legal review and validation of management programs to improve operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating between Legal Affairs and admin units, tracking decree opinions, and preparing technical documents and communications

Qualifications

High school diploma required; law studies not mandatory but considered.
5 years of demonstrable experience in environmental legislation for HS graduates.
2 years of experience for university graduates in similar areas.

Responsibilities

Support the legal review and validation of management programs for ANP conservation and protection.
Collaborate on formulation and review of ANP management and conservation strategies.
Coordinate activities between the Legal Affairs Directorate and other administrative units.
Track opinions for new ANP decrees and strengthen CONANP's public consultation processes for efficiency and transparency.
Prepare technical documents, informational notes, and communications for the area director.
