Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to provide technical support in assembly processes, coordinate maintenance and engineering activities, and support manufacturing departments.

Daily responsibilities include defining maintenance, reviewing process setups, performing MSA/CPK studies, and driving improvements to reduce cycle time and enable automation. Strong English and automotive experience are required, with a bachelor’s degree and hands-on maintenance know-how.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced English: written and spoken.
• +2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in automotive industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including automated lines and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure effectiveness based on downtime and OEE.
• Review process set ups to ensure correct parameters and specifications.
• Perform MSA & Capability studies, thermal profiles, and tooling analysis.
• Define standard work for technicians and ensure execution.
• Support response team for assembly plant and warranty returns.
• Define improvements to reduce cycle time and enable automation on assembly processes.
