Job summary

Leggett Dynamics is seeking an Operations Buyer to support Automotive procurement across the plant. You will manage indirect purchases, coordinate with category teams, and assist in implementing regional procurement strategies.

The role requires experience in international automotive procurement, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools is expected, along with basic contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Completed technical or business degree as a baseline.
• 1-3 years in international procurement in automotive.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English; local languages are an asset.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools; basic contract understanding.

Responsibilities

• Implement regional indirect procurement contracts within the assigned plant and manage all indirect purchases not covered by regional agreements.
• Oversee negotiations and implementation related to engineering changes impacting serial production parts after Phase 5 sign-off.
• Support Category Management in executing commodity strategies and productivity initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance with focus on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Provide procurement input for the plant’s Supplier Scorecard; act as first escalation point for supplier issues.
