Aptiv is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) in Matamoros, Mexico to lead quality planning for automotive electronics launches. You will drive APQP, PFMEA, PPAP activities and coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to assure flawless product introductions.
The role requires 3–5 years in Advanced Quality Engineering within automotive, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, CSR, and core tools.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in Advanced Quality Engineering or automotive quality.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, MSA, SPC; knowledge of automotive quality tools.
Responsabilidades
- Lead APQP activities and ensure deliverables meet milestones.
- Review PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams and Control Plans.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for quality.
- Coordinate PPAP submissions and ensure production readiness.
- Monitor launch quality and lead containment actions.
- Analyze quality trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design and manufacturing.
- Provide regular program quality updates to leadership.
