EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico seeks an Automotive Electrical Technician to update and commission control units in test vehicles, install wiring harnesses, and integrate data acquisition equipment. The candidate should have 1 year in the automotive industry, knowledge of CAN Bus and Ethernet, OBD II tools, and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Available shifts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or day shift, and a 6-month contract.

Formación

• Electrical/electronic engineering background.
• 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Mandatory knowledge of CAN Bus and Ethernet communication.
• Experience using OBD II diagnostic tools, flashing, and coding.
• Mandatory experience with hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• English intermediate.
• Availability for rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or day).
• 6-month contract.

DESCRIPTION

• Updating and commissioning control units in test vehicles (production and development), including engine, electrical control unit, instrument cluster, driver assistance systems, among others.
• Wiring harness assembly and installation in development vehicles.
• Installation of electromechanical components and data acquisition equipment in test vehicles.
• Diagnosis and repair of electrical faults in test vehicles (production and development).
• Monitoring, delivery, reporting, and documentation of results.

REQUIREMENTS

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technician or Engineer, Mechatronics, Automotive Systems, or related fields.
• 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems.
• Experience in diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Mandatory knowledge of CAN Bus and Ethernet communication.
