The Opportunity

This position works should be in Mexico City but travel out of our Mexico location in the Core Lab Division. We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.

What You’ll Do
  • Summarize the main purpose of the role.
  • Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.

  • Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
  • Responsible for responding to inquiries of a technical nature.
  • Help our customers to develop their potential and growth using Abbott's CoreLab portfolio in the areas of Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Custom Automation Solutions and IT solutions.
  • Customer Investigation: Determining customer needs to Automation and LIS Systems (Abbott Automation and LIS protocols) with our Abbott Diagnostcis Platforms (Chemistry, Inmunology, Hematology & Automation).
  • Analyze user needs, gather customer requirements, design an integrated, scalable, and comprehensive informatics solutions to improve the automation and informatics solutions for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers.
Required Qualifications
  • Communicate with customers and clients (via email, phone, or online discussion boards) to resolve complex enquiries and technical question in order to recommend suitable products or services (for example IT hardware and software products, financial services, health services).
  • Apply established procedures or develop new solutions to solve technical problems through case management and follow-up on the status of outstanding cases
  • Expert knowledge of Automation applications, infrastructures, and impact on business; Hospital, Laboratory or healthcare digital health experience preferred.
  • High Level Experience installing or supporting critical healthcare hardware, software infrastructure and Automation systems .
  • Senior Level at managing deliverables and resources of multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Management of Risk in order to taking action that goes beyond defined job requirements to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrate superior troubleshooting and critical thinking skills and ability to create/communicate resolution plans for open issues.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Expert at identifying alternative ways to view or define problems and using diverse sources for ideas and inspiration.
  • Expert knowledge of Automation systems Sw and Hardware , Windows & Linux operating systems, Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Automation assembly system, architecture Ethernet and Can Bus systems , LAN, WAN , remote access solutions & Automation System and Workflow system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: (Mechatronics, Bionics, Biomedical, Electro-Mechanical, Informatics Engineering) Bachelor’s Degree Diploma
  • Diploma or related field of study in Automation and IT solutions ; (Windows Server & CISCO CCNA) preferred.
  • Portuguese speaker is a plus.
  • Passport & American VISA.
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in Information and Automation Technology Experience in Technical Support or Digital Health Service(Corelab Diagnostics).
  • English Intermedial-Advanced Level (B2 minimum required)
  • Travel requirements minimal 50 %
