Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner enabling brands to design, build, and deliver innovative products. The Automation Manager role in Flex North focuses on specifying, designing, installing, and maintaining automation equipment, tooling, and applications to meet specifications.

You will lead PCBA and sub-assembly programs through development, validation, production, and sustaining activities in a SpinCo context.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience designing and industrializing PCBAs and electronic sub-assemblies.
• Advanced English communication skills and global collaboration ability.
• Experience with NPI lifecycle and mass production.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the entire product life cycle from concept to mass production for PCBA and sub-assemblies.
• Define, develop, and deploy manufacturing and product development solutions for PCBA and sub-assemblies across sites.
• Design and engineer PCBA and sub-assembly solutions meeting customer specs, manufacturability, reliability, quality, and cost targets.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals on technical capability, cost, and delivery.
• Develop project budgets and schedules within approved financial targets.
• Conduct design reviews and provide guidance to internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Lead supplier and external partner management through all development phases.
