Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a Consumer Science Competitive Intelligence Associate Scientist to join our LATAM foods team in Mexico City. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement competitive research following globally aligned methodologies and regional needs.

The role emphasizes quantitative consumer research insights and strategic learning plans. The position requires a professional degree in a relevant scientific field, strong analytical skills, and advanced English

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology, Food Science, Sensory Science or related field.
• Strong background in test design, research methodologies & statistics.
• Experience in sensory & consumer research, preferably in FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D FSQA and PD to conduct Competitive Quality Assessment (CQA).
• Coordinate with external agencies for competitive consumer testing programs and reporting.
• Provide actionable insights from quantitative research and communicate implications to senior managers.
• Develop and manage adhoc competitive learning plans with key stakeholders.
• Support digitization initiatives across the Consumer Science function.
• Coordinate sensory testing needs with Global Sensory Operations.
