Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Operations Supervisor for Guadalajara, North Campus, to supervise staff and projects and ensure end-to-end development of personnel and operations. Reporting to the Process Engineer, you will direct daily activities to meet production goals and coordinate with management on feasibility and demand.

Responsibilities include planning, staffing, budgeting, safety and LEAN practices, plus performance coaching to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Experience in critical and basic repair operations.
• Experience working with SRT Saw machines.
• Personnel management and team leadership experience.
• Management and control of Work-in-Process (WIP).
• Follow-up and tracking of Work Orders (WO).
• Experience ensuring production goals, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Associate Operations Supervisor, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineer, the Associate Operations Supervisor will be responsible for providingdaily supervision tostaff, projects and/or resources. Ensures complete end-to-end development of assigned personnel (direct reports) and/or Operations projects.

What a typical day looks like:

• Help with action planning with client, project planning follow-up, space planning, turnover review and workshop participation.
• Identifylabor needs, interviews and recruiting activities, implementing training, and coaching / counseling for improved performance.
• Activities include staff meetings, customer interactions, vendor/service provider interactions, and internal communications with peers, staff and internal business unit departments.
• Protection of company assets.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and apply LEAN manufacturing conceptwhere everpossible
• Directs daily department activitiesin order tomeet production goals.
• Confers with management, production and marketing staff to determine manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness and customer demand for new and existing products.
• Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Reviews and establishes material, equipment and manpower resource requirements.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring both preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
• Administer safety programsin order toprovide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
• Generates productivity reports and other operations metrics.
