Carrier is seeking an entry-level Associate Mechanical Engineer in San Luis Potosí to support product design, analysis, and data-driven improvements in a manufacturing environment.

You will perform engineering tasks, collect data, conduct testing, and contribute to cost and quality initiatives while developing foundational skills in mechanical systems and process validation.

Formación

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct mechanical engineering activities for product design, development, validation, and improvement.
• Collect and analyze engineering data; identify findings and recommendations.
• Execute engineering processes per established procedures, including testing and qualification.
• Support cost reduction, quality improvement, manufacturability, and reliability efforts.
• Identify risks in projects and help implement effective solutions.

About the role

Entry-level Mechanical Engineering professional who supports product and mechanical design activities, conducts engineering analysis, and develops and analyzes technical data.

Key responsibilities

As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Conducting mechanical engineering activities related to product design, development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collecting and analyzing engineering data, identifying findings and providing recommendations as appropriate.
• Executing engineering processes using established procedures and standard work, including testing, verification, and qualification activities.
• Supporting product cost reduction, quality improvement, manufacturability, and reliability initiatives.
• Identifying potential technical, schedule, or cost risks within assigned projects and contributes to implementing effective solutions.

Requirements

• Requires theoretical knowledge obtained through a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Limited knowledge of Carrier products, manufacturing processes, and organization.
• University Degree or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
