Placements24 seeks a Senior Industrial Project Architect to lead the architectural design of large-scale industrial facilities in Tijuana, Baja California. The role guides projects from concept to construction documentation, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards while coordinating with clients, engineers, and regulators.

You will manage timelines, budgets, and resources, review shop drawings, and mentor junior architects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including budget and schedule control.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building systems, particularly for industrial applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Tijuana, Baja California, or similar urban industrial settings is a plus.
• Professional architectural license (e.g., Colegio de Arquitectos de México) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for industrial projects, from conceptualization through to final construction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and specifications using advanced CAD and BIM software.
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and identify potential challenges.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior architects and design team members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards specific to industrial facilities in Tijuana.
• Present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
