Placements24 busca un Arquitecto de Software de Aviación para liderar la visión y el diseño de sistemas críticos de software para operaciones de vuelo, gestión de tráfico y servicios al pasajero. Es un puesto 100% remoto dentro de México, con enfoque en arquitectura avanzada y liderazgo de equipos distribuidos.

Se requiere Maestría en CS y 10+ años en desarrollo, con al menos 5 en roles arquitecturales, dominio de Java/C++/Python y plataformas en la nube (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Maestría en CS u ingeniería relacionada con 10+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software.
• Experiencia de 5+ años en rol arquitectural y diseño de sistemas complejos, preferentemente en aviación.
• Conocimiento de patrones arquitectónicos (Microservicios, EDA) y SDLC.
• Capacidades de liderazgo y comunicación en entorno remoto, con gestión de equipos distribuidos.
• Autorización para trabajar en México y configuración remota confiable.

Responsibilities

• Definir la visión arquitectónica para nuevos y existentes sistemas de software aeronáuticos.
• Dirigir diseño de soluciones escalables, de alto rendimiento y confiables.
• Colaborar con product managers y equipos para traducir requisitos en diseños técnicos.
• Garantizar adherencia a estándares de codificación, seguridad y buenas prácticas.
• Evaluar tecnologías, frameworks y herramientas para desarrollo aeronáutico.
• Brindar guía técnica y mentoría a equipos de desarrollo.
• Supervisar implementación de diseños y su integración.
• Mantenerse actualizado sobre tendencias de arquitectura y aviación.
• Impulsar innovación y mejora continua en procesos de desarrollo.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing complex, large-scale software systems, preferably in the aviation sector.
• Deep understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture).
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, especially in a remote context.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards is highly desirable.
• Must be authorized to work in Mexico and maintain a reliable remote work setup.
