Job summary

UNICEF Mexico seeks a Child Protection Specialist (Armed Violence) to lead development and implementation of the armed violence strategy, and to support programme design, management, monitoring and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Chief Child Protection (P-4), you will provide technical guidance, manage country programme projects, and help create protective environments for children.

The role requires advanced degree, 5+ years in child protection, Spanish and English, and proven ability

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in development or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in child protection programmes.
• Three years of experience in demobilization/reintegration or related emergencies.
• Expertise in armed violence and child protection.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
