Job description

OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE

We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.

THE TEAM

Arbol and Oasis, collectively known as the Complex, represent some of the most distinctive Food & Beverage experiences at Las Ventanas al Paraíso.

Arbol is the resort’s signature Pan-Asian restaurant, renowned for its exceptional cuisine, refined service, and unique ambiance. Oasis offers an elevated poolside experience featuring the destination’s first Lazy River pool, specialty dining concepts, and innovative beverage offerings.

Reporting directly to the Complex Manager, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality across multiple venues.

YOUR ROLE

As Complex Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of Arbol and Oasis. You will help drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team engagement while ensuring each outlet consistently delivers service aligned with Rosewood’s luxury standards and financial objectives.

Working closely with the Complex Manager and collaborating with Culinary, Finance, Engineering, and other operational departments, you will contribute to creating memorable experiences for guests, supporting business performance, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the outlets.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
  • Support the Complex Manager in the daily operation of multiple Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Drive exceptional guest experiences by consistently upholding Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, and Rosewood service standards.
  • Monitor outlet readiness, ensuring all venues are properly stocked with operational supplies based on occupancy levels and business demands.
  • Supervise outlet set-up, floor plans, and operational execution for daily service and special events, ensuring all requirements are flawlessly delivered.
  • Oversee inventory controls, including perishables, glassware, operational supplies, and participation in monthly inventory processes.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure the proper use, care, and preventive maintenance of operational equipment.
  • Support administrative functions including scheduling, payroll preparation, requisitions, purchase orders, accruals, and special projects.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards through consistent implementation, monitoring, and documentation.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
  • You have experience leading Food & Beverage teams within luxury or ultra-luxury hotels, resorts, or destination dining venues.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments and can successfully manage multiple priorities, projects, and operational deadlines.
  • You possess strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to service excellence.
  • You are comfortable supporting scheduling, payroll processes, financial administration, and operational planning.
  • You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and remain calm and effective when working under pressure.
  • You are fluent in English and enjoy communicating with guests and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • You have knowledge of luxury hospitality standards, including Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, Distintivo H, or Punto Limpio programs.
  • You are flexible with scheduling and adaptable to the operational needs of outlets operating across multiple service periods.
OUR BENEFITS

As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes medical coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard - and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them - and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
