Job summary

AgileEngine is hiring for a mobile test automation engineer in a remote role. You will automate our regression suite and expand coverage across iOS and Android, replacing manual tests. Must have at least 2 years of mobile automation experience, Kotlin preferred, and familiarity with Firebase, Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric.

Work hours are 9am–1pm EST. You’ll join projects for Fortune 500 clients, with flexible hours and USD-based compensation, plus education, fitness budgets and team

• Experience with Firebase & Test Lab is a plus.
• Familiar with UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
