Job summary

Banamex is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of financial systems. The role requires collaboration with technology teams, users and stakeholders to implement enhancements and ensure secure, reliable software delivery.

The candidate should have 2-5 years in financial services, proficiency in Java, Ab Initio and data warehousing, plus experience with microservices and batch processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
• Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of L1–L3 support and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement system enhancements using development procedures and code analysis.
• Consult with users, clients and other technology groups on issues and propose programming solutions.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages to design specifications.
• Analyze applications for vulnerabilities, security issues, testing and debugging.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and operate with limited supervision.
