A major engineering company in San Luis Potosí is seeking an Applications and Product Engineer to enhance product yield and quality. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in electronics and mechanical assemblies, with relevant educational qualifications. BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as Applications and Product Engineer to sustain and/or improve product yield, quality, reliability, safety, legal and environmental compliance. Transfer new products.
Education/Experience Qualifications
Schooling: Bachelor/Master Electronics/Mechatronic Engineering Degree
Experience: 5 years in a similar position including a strong background of electronics, microprocessors and mechanical assemblies.
Experience using GD&T, mechanical assemblies, gear systems. Knowledge of lab tools like digital oscilloscope, curve tracer, simulators is a plus.
Technical knowledge :
Knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole Technology processes. Ability to address past supplier response times, resolve customer application related product problems, and access accurate product information.
Other requirements :
Limited networking and exposure to identify key areas for upgrading (knowledge, process, equipment).
Travel Availability: Yes Frequency: Quarterly
English Requirement: Competent
