Job summary

Citi in Mexico City is seeking a frontend engineer to develop and maintain our Angular design system components, delivering high‑performance UI aligned with accessibility standards.

You will write unit tests with Jasmine/Karma, end‑to‑end tests with Cypress, contribute to documentation, collaborate with design, AI tooling teams, and help evolve the library for internal and external consumers. You will also participate in releases and work within a monorepo project structure.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on Angular experience (v15+; project on Angular 21).
• Strong TypeScript and RxJS understanding.
• Experience with Reactive Forms and component lifecycles.
• Proficient HTML/SCSS and design-token based styling.
• Well-documented code with unit and end-to-end tests.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve reusable Angular UI components aligned to our design system guidelines.
• Write unit tests with Jasmine/Karma and end-to-end tests with Cypress.
• Develop and maintain complex data table and filtering features within the design system.
• Collaborate on reactive form components and form input patterns.
• Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) via automated testing tools.
• Help maintain and generate component documentation.
• Work within Angular library project structure (ng-package, schematics, tsconfig targets).
• Collaborate with AI to accelerate library development and integration.
• Participate in versioning and releases of the Angular component library.
