Job summary

Citi is seeking a frontend engineer to advance an internal Angular design system component library. You will develop high-quality Angular components, ensure accessibility, and collaborate with design and CSS leads to uphold a cohesive foundation across design and code.

As part of the Design organization, you will help with onboarding, integration guidance, and ongoing support for library consumers, including internal and external clients. Strong unit and end-to-end testing culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Angular development with focus on reusable components.
• Strong TypeScript and RxJS understanding.
• Experience with Angular Reactive Forms and component lifecycles.
• Proficient HTML/SCSS and design tokens for styling.
• Tests written with unit and end-to-end tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve Angular UI components aligned to the design system.
• Write unit tests with Jasmine/Karma and e2e tests with Cypress.
• Develop complex data table and filtering features within the design system.
• Collaborate on reactive form components and input patterns.
• Ensure accessibility standards via automated testing tools.
• Help maintain component documentation and code quality.
• Work within Angular library project structure (ng-package, schematics, tsconfig targets).
• Partner with internal teams to onboard and support adoption of the library.
• Contribute to versioning and releases of the Angular component library.
