Colgate-Palmolive in Guanajuato, Mexico, invites an Analytical Assistant Scientist to join a GMP laboratory and perform analytical testing on stability samples, raw materials, and finished products using USP/EP methods and instruments such as HPLC, GC, and ICP.

The role emphasizes data integrity, calibration, and technology transfer to manufacturing facilities. A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field and at least 1 year of lab experience are required, with advanced English proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience using standard analytical methods or pharmacopeias (e.g., USP/EP).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Preferred: GMP/ISO-lab experience; chromatographic instruments (HPLC, GC); ICP; method transfer activities.

Responsabilidades

• Analytical Testing & Data Interpretation: conduct routine quantitative and qualitative analysis of raw materials and finished products using standard analytical methods or pharmacopeias (USP/EP); provide data to Product Development and Manufacturing teams.
• Instrumentation & Laboratory Maintenance: operate, calibrate, qualify, and troubleshoot core laboratory equipment (HPLC, GC, Potentiometric Titration, ICP); maintain instruments per GMP guidelines.
• Method Optimization & Technology Transfer: support analytical method development, optimization, validation, and transfer to global manufacturing sites; train lab personnel.
• Quality, EOHS & Documentation: maintain notebooks and documentation per global compliance standards and local EOHS regulations.
• Technical Communication: summarize findings, present data to cross-functional partners, document learnings to drive improvements.
