The Hershey Company is seeking an Analyst Transportation Planner in El Salto, Jal, Mexico, to support reliable movement of finished goods by turning service needs into executable transportation plans. You will collaborate with Logistics, Customer Service, Warehousing, and carriers to improve service, vehicle utilization, and safety.

• 1+ year of experience in transportation planning, logistics, distribution, or related roles.
• Experience with TMS, routing, carrier coordination, delivery monitoring, logistics metrics, and warehouse processes is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Create and assign shipments in the transportation management system using delivery requirements from Customer Service, Production Planning, and Replenishment; balance customer service with vehicle-capacity utilization.
• Publish the daily Shipping Log and communicate transportation plans to cross-functional partners.
• Monitor shipment execution from loading through customer delivery, coordinating issue resolution with Warehousing, Customer Service, Security, carriers, and other partners.
• Track and report logistics indicators, including shipment consolidation, vehicle utilization, delivery performance, and service trends; use Excel-based analysis to identify follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and carriers to support transportation capacity, routing, delivery execution, and customer commitments.
• Review, validate, and authorize exceptional carrier accessorial charges such as handling, detention, and tolls in accordance with established controls.
• Support food quality and safety expectations, proactively report unsafe conditions or behaviors, and contribute to a respectful, collaborative work environment.

How will you fit in the big picture?

The Analyst Transportation Planner supports reliable, efficient movement of finished goods and materials by translating customer service, production planning, and replenishment needs into executable transportation plans. You will partner across Logistics, Customer Service, Warehousing, Production Planning, Security, and carriers to strengthen service, vehicle utilization, shipment visibility, food quality, and workplace safety.

What will you do?

• Create and assign shipments in the transportation management system (TMS) using delivery requirements from Customer Service, Production Planning, and Replenishment; balance customer service with vehicle-capacity utilization.
• Publish the daily Shipping Log and communicate transportation plans to cross-functional partners.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in transportation planning, logistics, distribution, shipment execution, or a related supply chain role. Experience with TMS, routing, carrier coordination, delivery monitoring, logistics metrics, warehouse processes, and Excel is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Skills: Strong organization and prioritization, effective communication, customer-service orientation, analytical problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration. English and Spanish proficiency at B2 level or above is preferred where business needs require it.
