Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is seeking an HR Operations professional for a hybrid role in Azcapotzalco/Polanco, Mexico City. You will be the first point of contact for HR queries and manage data across HCM systems with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Strong English skills and experience with Workday or SAP are required. Portuguese is a plus as the role supports cross-functional teams and global processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, HR systems administration, or HR analytics.
• Advanced English proficiency in professional environments.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries across multiple channels.
• Manage day-to-day HR data entry across HCM systems with high accuracy for lifecycle events.
• Ensure compliance of employee data with internal policies and labor regulations.
• Support system enhancements, testing, and implementation of new HR modules or features.
• Handle and resolve employee queries within defined KPIs, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports to support leadership decisions.
• Manage the People Operations inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Create and issue employment documents aligned with HR processes.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing Tier 1 support through multiple communication channels.
• Manage day-to-day HR data entry operations across various HCM systems, ensuring 100% accuracy for all employee lifecycle events (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, changes, and leave management).
• Ensure compliance of employee data with internal policies, labor regulations, and data privacy standards.
• Support system enhancements, testing cycles, and the implementation of new HR system modules or features.
• Handle and resolve employee queries within defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports to support leadership decision-making.
• Manage the People Operations inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries.
• Create and issue employment documentation such as contracts, starter packs, and termination letters, ensuring alignment with HR processes.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, HR systems administration, or HR analytics.
• Advanced English proficiency , with the ability to communicate clearly in professional and business environments.
• Experience with HR systems, including Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms such as Workday , SAP , or similar
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive data with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
