Job summary

Clarios in Torreón, Mexico is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the plant’s financial and accounting operations. You will focus on budget control, expense monitoring, inventory and fixed assets, and internal controls to deliver timely, accurate financial information for plant decisions.

You will analyze variances, prepare accruals, maintain reconciliations, coordinate inventories, and support procurement and payments while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, accounts payable, internal controls, fixed assets, budgeting, inventories, and manufacturing costs.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily expenses versus budget and identify variances.
• Prepare monthly accruals, expense provisions, and reclassifications.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain internal control documentation.
• Coordinate physical inventories for materials and fixed assets; record adjustments.
• Support procurement and payment processes, including blanket POs and energy invoices.
• Collaborate with Finance, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets teams to support plant operations.
