Adient is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join the Ramos Press Plant finance team. The role focuses on the cleanup of AP/AR balances, fixed assets management, and SOX compliance, with responsibilities including month-end closings, forecasting, and profit planning.

The position requires strong Excel proficiency and leadership abilities to drive accurate financial reporting, inventory oversight, and cross-functional collaboration within the plant’s accounting function.

Formación

• Experience in general accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of AP/AR processes and fixed assets management.
• SOX compliance experience and internal controls awareness.
• Strong Excel skills for financial reporting and forecasting.
• Ability to prepare and present financial reviews and plans.

Responsabilidades

• Review and cleanup of AP and AR balances of the plant (Cleanup of Open POS and GRIR).
• Fixed asset management (capitalizations, inventories, depreciation projections, CIP projections).
• SOX compliance responsibilities and controls oversight.
• Sales reporting and forecasting duties.
• Month-end closing activities and financial outlook preparation.
• Mid-month report, outlook, and profit plan preparation.
• Support for annual inventory roll-ups and fiscal year processes.
• General accounting and account reconciliations.
• Preparation and presentation of Mid-Month Financial Review and Outlook Financial Review.
• Preparation of the Profit Plan.
• Cost Accounting tasks.

Review and cleanup of AP and AR balances of the plant (Cleanup of Open POS and GRIR)

Fixed asset management (capitalizations, physical inventories, Capex cash projections, depreciation projections, CIP projections, and other fixed asset balance sheet accounts)

SOX compliance

Sales reporting and forecasting

Month-end closing activities

Mid-month report, outlook, and profit plan preparation

Support for annual inventory roll-ups and throughout the fiscal year

General accounting/account reconciliation

Preparation and presentation of the Mid-Month Financial Review

Preparation and presentation of the Outlook Financial Review
