Citigroup in Mexico City seeks a detail-oriented finance professional to support monthly close, financial reporting, and regulatory submissions. The role requires basic exposure to US GAAP and regulatory reporting, with strong Excel skills and clear communication abilities.

The candidate will help consolidate financials, pass necessary adjustments, and develop analyses and routine reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of prior experience preferred.
• Experience in Finance, Financial Services or Accounting Internship preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Support the analysis and submission of reports to regulators and other constituencies based on US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local reporting requirements.
• Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including required adjustments and consolidating financials at period end.
• Facilitate the implementation of procedures and the development of analyses and reports.
• Deliver routine outputs and escalate issues related to transactions, processes, or procedures.
• Maintain awareness of risk in business decisions and uphold Citi's compliance and governance standards.
