NielsenIQ's Payroll team is a strategic function that supports business success by ensuring associates are paid accurately and on time. You will handle end-to-end payroll activities for Mexico, collaborating with Finance and HR to deliver a timely, compliant payroll experience.

The role requires at least 1 year in payroll, strong MS Excel skills, knowledge of LFT, LISR and LSS, and familiarity with STRADA or Workday. English conversations are preferred.

Formación

  • 1+ years of experience in payroll or related roles.
  • Solid knowledge of Mexican payroll legislation, including LFT, LISR, and LSS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • English: ability to hold conversations and attend meetings is preferred.
  • Experience with STRADA and/or Workday is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the end-to-end payroll process for Mexico, including pre-payroll inputs, processing, and post-payroll accounting entries.
  • Assist with off-cycle payrolls and special calculations (Aguinaldo, PTU).
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support Social Security processes (IMSS) and salary changes, terminations, and medical leave tracking.
  • Contribute to benefits administration and LATAM payroll initiatives.

NielsenIQ's Payroll team is a strategic function that supports business success by ensuring associates are paid accurately and on time. Clear communication with internal stakeholders is essential to enable informed decision-making and deliver exceptional employee experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end payroll process, including:
  • Pre-payroll activities: receiving, validating, and uploading payroll inputs.
  • Payroll processing and calculations.
  • Post-payroll activities: accounting entries, monthly reconciliation with Finance, and CFDI processing.
  • Assist with off-cycle payrolls, such as Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo), profit sharing (PTU), and other special calculations.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries through established systems and communication channels.
  • Support compliance with statutory and internal payroll regulations.
  • Assist with Social Security processes (IMSS), including:
  • Registration of new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
  • Medical leave tracking and validation.
  • Support with SUA, ISN, and FONACOT calculations and payments.
  • Support payroll-related benefits administration, including saving fund, food vouchers, gasoline vouchers, and other benefits.
  • Provide support to the LATAM Regional Payroll Team when required.
  • Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

You will be part of a team of skilled payroll professionals supporting both local and global payroll operations, contributing to the continuous improvement of the employee experience.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in payroll or related roles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; experience interacting with management is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Mexican payroll legislation, including LFT, LISR, and LSS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • English: ability to hold conversations and attend meetings is preferred.
  • Experience with STRADA and/or Workday is an advantage.
