Corning Incorporated seeks an AMER SC Strategist and Inventory Champion to define, coordinate, and drive supply chain strategies across the AMER region, balancing service levels with working capital and business continuity.

You will partner with planning, operations, demand, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to optimize inventory, implement policies, monitor performance, and lead improvement initiatives, S&OP/IBP support, and data-driven decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree or specialization in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business preferred.
• Solid experience in supply chain, inventory planning, demand planning, supply planning, or logistics.
• Experience in regional or multinational environments.
• Experience in inventory management, data analysis, and strategic decision-making.
• Experience in continuous improvement or process implementation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for the AMER region aligned with business objectives.
• Lead inventory optimization initiatives to improve product availability while reducing excess, obsolescence, and stockout risks.
• Monitor and analyze key inventory, demand, supply, and service performance indicators.
• Define inventory policies and parameters, including safety stock levels, reorder points, and target inventory coverage.
• Coordinate with demand planning, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure effective execution of supply chain strategies.
• Identify supply chain risks and drive preventive and corrective actions to minimize business impact.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain resilience.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes by providing visibility into inventory positions and supply constraints.
• Develop scenario analyses and strategic recommendations to respond to demand fluctuations, market changes, or operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment in processes, standards, and best practices.
• Lead or participate in transformation, digitalization, and automation projects related to inventory and supply chain management.
• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy to support effective decision-making.
